Glenfort designed, manufactured and installed the oak framed structures in one of Ireland most prestigious golf clubs. The 18 hole golf course by Robert Trent Jones Jr, includes a new oak frame clubhouse, luxury spa hotel and onsite exclusive cottages.
In three separate phases, Glenfort installed the complete oak post & beam framed clubhouse, spanning over 8m x 35m long.
This clubhouse was fitted with 10 large oak trusses including structural dual purlins and ridge beams.
Following the insulation of the clubhouse, Glenfort constructed five oak-framed cottage buildings for the golf club’s accommodation.
The oak beams in the cottages were styled to be rustic and distressed to match the décor. The grand hotel entrance and bar areas were installed as the project’s final phase. The entrance frame included massive oak posts that finished at 450mm square.
