This design and build project was special in a way, the clients approached Glenfort with initial ideas to build an oak frame using timber from there very own forest. Various trips to the clients plantation were made to hand select the trees suitable to build the structure. These trees where then felled and transported to our yard where they were cut to the sizes needed and left to air dry for the correct period of time.
During this process our designers came up with the frame templates to build within a standard block wall of the new build home. The frame consisted of four raised tie trussed with curved sweeps and vertical posts, these where tied with purlins and a ridge beam taking the full structure of the roof above.
